I simply had to write a quick post to say a massive thank you to, CBDB for signing so many of us up to, Yoga with Adriene and her January Journey CENTER.
For me, it has been one of the best I have ever done... I had to play catch up but it was still a joy.
I think for the first time I really did feel the whole point of it; I found my core and centre, I persevered, with tweaks on the moves and I relished the breathing, which impacted greatly on my Post Covid left overs. I feel strong and much more relaxed and positive.
I have started each day with a smile, I am sleeping easier and deeper.
And my downward dog... which I was not able to achieve at the beginning...( too much head congestion)... I can now do . Small runner in training is very impressed...!
I know so, so many of us have taken so much away from these sessions!
Thank you for getting us all involved.... what next for our yoga adventures ! I simply cannot wait!

Awwwhh it’s so lovely to join in with a whole group of virtual buddies! So thanks to you and everyone who made coming to the mat so special.
I have now actually two mats in the house, like running shoes they seem to multiply if you do not watch them.
One lives in the living room in our workout corner, and one lives upstairs in the guest room besides my indoor rower.
So no excuses! I can do a yoga session just after rowing, for a good stretch, or before for a good warmup. And when hubby and I want to do one together, the living room workout corner has enough space.
So yes, let’s keep rolling out all sorts of real and virtual mats!
👏👏👏 thank you Oldfloss for expressing what I'm sure many of us share.. I certainly do!I've done yoga for years but taking this daily challenge has helped me so much both mentally and physically at a tough time. Definitely want to continue it now. Thanks again CBDB 😊❤
That’s right-both sprained but the left one particularly badly. Now they’re not quite back to normal but miles better. I can finally hold a high plank and I’ve been able to use light weights with squats and lunges now so I think I’m ready to get back on the mat! I’ve really missed it!
I have loved seeing the few I follow on strava posting about their YWA center journeys too... I'm doing it but mixed in with other stuff so I'm on day 11!! I will keep going though as I can see benefits. I love your drawing and will look at that as my class love a drawing tuition session!!
