Which is better a treadmill or a stationary bike

I currently have an extensive home gym. I have a stationary bike but considering getting a treadmill to start running. Are there benefits to a treadmill over a bike?

I’ll just throw in a completely different idea: how about an indoor rowing machine!

Rowing is something different, something you cannot do outside (unless living close to large waters), it’s perfect suited for inside, low impact, brilliant overall workout, and perfect for cross training for running and cycling.

The initial cost might be a bit dearer but my experience is that all I need for an indoor gym is a yoga/Pilates mat and an indoor rower. (But the smaller props and smaller equipment seem to be multiplying every time I blink 🤣🤣)

I used to cycle a lot outside, so couldn’t imagine cycling inside. I am tempted by a treadmill but would then go for a manual, rounded treadmill. But those would be my preference.

Exciting times! I’m sure whatever you decide, you’ll have a lot of fun! So let us know how it goes!
