Dog walk AND strength work!

Inspired by Oldfloss and her recent post I thought I would give my local outside gym a little try šŸ˜ŠšŸ’ŖšŸ‘ With Squiggy safely tied to the fence I had a go at five of the exercises. Started on the cross-trainer (I quite like those) then the bike - but it needed oiling so the pedals were difficult to move and squeaky šŸ˜‚ Next the ā€˜chest press’, and ā€˜seated row’ (that was hard). I like the ā€˜leg presses’ the best - quite relaxing 😊. Not very energetic or long but as the saying goes….every little helps!

looks like you’ve got an outside gym in more private field settings! Great stuff!

Our outside gym is in full view of - and alongside - a centre town Asda car park, so it feels quite public. Something I really dislike.

Therefore, I like my private rower so much more. But in Germany you find some outdoor gym stuff (often less tech, more wooden) in forest paths away from the masses, and loads of people do them whilst walking on the path. A bit more private, as well.

Yes very lucky, it is in a good position in a fenced off children’s play area (that is why Squiggy was tied up outside) and next to football/cricket ground. So nice and open with views to distract from the effort šŸ˜‚

Absolutely well done you,,, and Squiggy for being so patient too! This sounds just right.. seizing the opportunity and fitting it in with a walk too.

All the shorts sessions build up and are making small but significant differences. x
