JD Challenge Day 21 πŸ‘πŸ˜ƒ

Here we are nearly halfway through the resistance band set πŸŽ‰πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

I've just completed Day 21. Squats and side walking were absolutely fine. Flailing flamingo still flailing 🦩 and SL rotations still a bit wobbly! I can definitely feel my glutes working through this lot πŸ’ͺπŸ‘πŸ˜ƒ

How are you getting on? Let us know below!

You have described exactly my experience!! Day 21βœ…πŸ¦©πŸ™Œ

The only incident was, while doing the flamingo with the flamingo-coloured band, I returned to standing and the band snapped out of my hand. Quite a sound and a wallop that produced!

Day 20 done here ! βœ… No real problems, toe touch was a bit better on my back using a lighter band today , then the medium for the rest !

I’ll have to skip this day, as it was too full with work + a run, a row and twice post run/row stretches. Also my son stole his resistance bands back! 😀😏

How dare he take his resistance bands back, the cheek of the boy 🀣 I think you had enough exercise for one day anyway! πŸ’ͺπŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Day 21 done. A tick the box exercise compared to the previous stage! Balance exercises challenging of course! I've begun standing around on one leg at every opportunity in an effort to improve my balance. 😁

I managed to very thoroughly do the whole chabang just now, as today I had no run or row scheduled! So this would be the only workout for the whole day! 😳😱

Also finally my very own, cheap-o latex resistance bands arrived, and starting with the low and medium, these are both lighter than the higher quality fabric ones from my son!

But I’m not complaining!

1: Resistance Band Squats – Yey! Sooo easy! (I’ll be celebrating that!)

#2: SL Resisted Toe Touch – I alternated with above 10 squats, then 10 toe touches, then repeat as many times as needed, which worked well. Still have to have a ledge for balance, but otherwise ok-ish.

#3: Lateral Resistance Band Walk - knees very much happier as my resistance bands are lighter than the ones I borrowed from son until now. Yey! (Celebrating again! πŸ₯³)

#4: SL Rotations with Resistance Band – still awkward with balance issues and what exactly rotated, upper body? Hips? Leg? Everything kind of moves when I do these despite needing a ledge again, for stabilisation.
