We took our practice outside again with YWA’s Day 18 - Total Body Yoga Deep Stretch, 48 min slow stretch! A great session, although the sunny sky, the gorgeous trees, and the beautiful long lang grasses were constantly distracting me. (Our lawnmower broke some weeks ago and we have not yet replaced it, so therefore the wavy long grasses… 😅)
So another beautiful outdoor S&F session, with our take-it-outside bag being very useful.
Happy outside Yoga-ing.

Lovely photos from your 'jungle' (meant in the nicest way!). I tried a bit of the yoga link (gentle/seniors) - from your other post. I think I prefer Tai Chi because I like the fluid movements, I find it hard to focus and switch off when holding yoga poses. Always find it hard to sit still 🤣. Will do another of the 5 min Tai Chi videos before bedtime......

Jungle! 🤣 yeah, it’s going a bit wild. We used to have chickens, and believe it or not, they kept our lawn in check. (Although hubby thinks I am exaggerating, but I’m sure our lawn never looked like this when we had chickens even when not mowing for weeks! 🤣)
Yoga/Tai Chi: Yeah, I think one could put these practices from a mindful to physical scale. At either far ends are Tai Chi and Pilates, and Yoga floats in a range in the middle somewhere, depending on instructor.
When we did the 30 days of Pilates, I certainly was missing the flowy flow of Yoga, and Tai Chi had that even more, I think.
😕 I know how this feels, having lived for 5 years in a house without garden before moving to this one. But think of the time you save for running, not having to weed, water, mow, etc etc 😉🙏
