Still yogaing but not quite managing every day at the moment as I’m so busy - although that’s exactly the reason why I should try to find a little time to do it. So, I now make a little yoga quest to aim to do yoga every day for the rest of the month. 😊👍🏼🧘🏼♀️

Yep still yoga-ing every day with the ever inspiring, lovely Adriene. Somewhat restricted still with knee but hey ho, now the doc has said it’s ‘just arthritis’ 🤪…I’m learning to replace some of the inaccessible moves and still really enjoy the instruction to ‘hop on the mat and find what feels good’ !! 🧘♀️
Many thanks to all those on S&F for the recommendation, without which I’d still be saying oh noooo, yoga isn’t for me!! 🤣
Hi, I'm still getting to the mat with Adriene every day. On the June 21 calender Expand on day 10 today.
Hubby and I are working through the PE with Joe Wicks sessions from last year, and the yoga after these gives me a lovely stretch.

I have just finished my 90 minute zoom yoga class. I think my yoga teacher had forgotten all about it being International Yoga Day !I was going to add a photo of the view from my mat but annoyingly it appears sideways on here for some reason /

I've also been doing a pilates for knees thing that you do sitting down, so I can do that while I work (all about multi-tasking here) - I found the video on here in another post.

Oh yes, I’m still doing yoga every day. I’m following the EXPAND calendar too and did Day 21 this morning. Last month I off-pisted a bit with practices as my dodgy toe didn’t like lots of the poses, but it’s fine again now, and I’m back on track.
I’ve found out that I can’t do Headstand frustratingly. It was Saturday’s practice. I used to do them all the time as a teenager, like you do, but late 50’s isn’t the best time to try again it seems! I couldn’t get my legs up, even though I can hold plank for ages and my crow is strong too. Who knew? That’s my homework anyway!
Well, you got to have something to aspire to, right? I am all googly 👀 eyed in awe of your crows 🦅and planks 🪵! 👏👏👏👍🏽
Ooh that's quite a challenge! I was more of a handstand fanatic than headstands. We had a go at preparing to do them in class pre-lockdown. It consisted of time spent with legs up a wall and then posture shifts but I only got as far as the wall bit out of fear for my ever tense neck! Good luck!!
Hello stretchy peeps! I'm still doing a little routine everyday but not for the last week as I've trapped a nerve in my lower back which is upsetting the piriformis - annoying & debilitating so it's careful stretching and no running at the moment.I'm looking forward to the end of term so I can rebalance with a new yoga programme preferably outside in the sunshine! ☀️🧘♀️😍

I am not doing much yoga recently because I have a 6 month subscription to Suzanne Bowen Fitness, my old favourite (although she does incorporate some yoga poses, so I'm not missing out altogether!).
But I decided to join in by adding on a 6 minute YWA abs session 😊😊😊 Wish I hadn't done it just after eating a nectarine though, I almost threw up! 🤣

I fear Yoga and Pilates is just like running. Find the right programme and before you know it, you’re working out every single day!
I've started Adriene's 30 day Breath programme, she is so popular here that I thought I'd give her a go. I've got a proper yoga mat now so I'm able to attempt all the poses without fear of slipping! I had a very near miss with the warrior pose, not pleasant 😣😱

Hope work calms down and running mojo comes back, but I know exactly how you feel. Work and it’s busy-ness keeps creeping up on you until you realise one’s own regular running and yoga has been seriously threatened.
