Morning, I've been running since the beginning of April (C25K) and haven't done any 'extra' training outside of running. Now I'm doing longer runs, I thought I'd better look into S&F - no idea what to expect but nice to see some familiar names over here!

I asked Google "Do planks help running"? the answer is yes, planks are good for your core and do help runners as part of their exercise program.

Many of us are also doing a bit of yoga, which is great for Flexibility, following Yoga with Adriene’s monthly calendar. Here is our latest weekly post: healthunlocked.com/strength...

And then of course there are themed topics with collections of workouts, from

So lots to chose from, but if you have not done the NHS Strength and Flexibility programme before, than those podcasts are a brilliant start!

The NHS Strength and Flexibility podcasts starts very gentle and progresses in little steps, kind of like C25k did for running. But it surprised me how much you progress in those five weeks. 💪👍🏽👏
