And the most difficult exercise (for me) seems to be the one where you lift your bum with your pelvic muscles whilst lying on the back! I can’t even feel those muscles!
From what she says, this must be easy for many and impossible for others. I fear I fall in the latter camp.
So here is my early new year’s resolution: in a year‘s time I’ll come back here and see if I have grown (conscious of) these muscles and if I can do these now.
Here‘s to continuing to lift our collective bums!
ADDENDUM: Two hours and a set of breakfast pancakes (gluten-free) later, I managed to get both husband and son show me their bum-lifting prowess. Result: hubby wins hands down (although he can’t keep his head from going up), teenage son managed 2 (better than me) and after a “whatever“ disappeared again to his teenage cave (I am sure to practice a bit more 😉), and I as expected came last, even with a bit of feet-lifting-help from hubby 🤣🤣🤣. All in our new workout corner in our livingroom, so it’s beginning to become quite a fun space.
