6 months of move everyday

I can not believe I am here. It started with a conversation with a running friend on New Years Eve in the pub. I was saying I didn’t feel very strong right now and I had signed up for a 2.5 km swim in March. She said she had signed up for Mind, move every day in January. I came home and had a look, liked what I saw and signed up. I started my year with a 9km Walk on New Year’s Day and I have kept moving every day since. Some days it is just a 2km Walk or a 15-20 min stretch session but other days it is a combination of different exercises. The outcome is in 6 months with swimming, running and walking I have covered 808.9 km so far this year. Now just to carry on for the next half of the year to complete my Move everyday in 2019.

I just realised it was July! I’d signed up for RED January in early December... and had lots of fun doing it, and so I said yay to your suggestion of doing February, and that’s become a year long challenge that I’m still in top of and enjoying every single day of. Thanks for suggesting it.

If we can do 6, we can do 12... we got this!

I still have this 01/01/20 🛋 thing in my head... but I’m not sure I’ll be able to when it comes to it!

You know I think I am the same, now I wonder what could make me stop 😂😂😂

Mr RfC would probably worry too!

The chats about seated workouts and the likes though injury has made me think this may just be a for life thing now... of course I could get hit by a bus tomorrow (thanks Nanna) and be in a coma or something... I’ll leave instructions with the wife to keep moving my arms and legs for an hour daily if I am.

Thank you. It just amazes me how all the little 2km walks and runs mount up 😀. Even if I only did 2km every day alternating between running and walking I would have got to around 365 km 😀.

Thank you, it was Mind that championed the move every day and I have to say that is one of the biggest benefits to me, just knowing I have done something everyday has really boosted my mood and lowered my stress levels. 😀
