Happy boy for weekend

Strange how things happen. all I wanted to do was cycle last week, this week all I want to do is run. 2hrs & 21k covered. Finally got my Nike running working with my watch which is good. No strength done this week but all starts back next week. All I have to do is to get through work today, my 70k cycle tomorrow and then normal service resumes Monday

On another note I find this amazing. One day I feel great and think yeah your looking good, the next I'm annoyed cause I feel I'm going wrong direction and scales say that. Yesterday I was down in weight but still felt my belly was getting bigger. I just don't get all this.

Running and cycling does have its ups and downs, by that I don't just mean hills.😂

Congratulations on your 21K run, isn't that a half marathon, I have been a cyclist since I was 7 but the anniversary of my first run of week 1 here on C25K is this coming Thursday.

Regarding that part of your belly getting bigger, there are several exercises on YouTube which help in reducing it a bit.

I know it's so weird. Was meant to cycle to work today but the thought of packing a bag etc and getting changed in work then vice Vera on way home. So I just went running. Donr the loop round home which I don't think I've done in 6 weeks. Belly bit I know these exercises work but I just find them so boring. I'm hoping my exercise classes will help. They have a ab core day which I usually miss but think I'll go this time. Good luck on your anniversary run.

After I did my 2.5km swim I have only just got back into the headspace of feeling fit again, I do think there is the equivalent of post holiday blues after an event that makes us feel very up and down, I think unfortunately some even give up exercise for a while after an event because of it. I hope the routine on Monday brings you back to some stability. Rfc x

Yeah I can understand that. I haven't been put off just last 2 weeks have felt different. Miby it is because I put so much in to my duathlon training. Don't know. Just know last week I felt different to this week. Hard to explain. Then you wanna try this or that and then your like yeah don't like that. I've just went with what my body wanted. Last week was more cycling, this week is more running.

21k? Wow! Nice run... that’s HMish

I think as you’ve shrunk other bits around the belly it can look bigger when viewed from above. I know mine is going, slowly, but sometimes I look at it and I think it’s huge.

Ah... sorry... I saw 2 hours and thought blimey. Still pretty impressive to be running that pace consistently over a week at this stage though.
