This morning I had choice with the blues skies. Nice spin on motorbike to get myself in the mood for the Nw200 this week or a nice cycle. Cycle it was. What a right choice it was. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Tough in a few hills but am theough the other side. Ended up doing 45k in under 2hrs. Pace was good and could talk the whole way through it.
What am I turning into that I gave up a dry morning on the motorbike

So glad you enjoyed your 🚴 cycling this morning and not the motor bike, much healthier for you Johnny.
I entend to go a cycle ride this afternoon after lunch, about 15K, not 45.
So far today I have, (in order ) did a 7 minute plank workout, two minutes on my kettle bells, breakfast from 7am to 7.20, looked at the Healthunlocked Website until 9 o'clock.
From 9 am to 9.18, I continued with UnfitNoMore's "100 push up a month challenge", at 9.30am I took my neighbour's dog a walk, that is a strong Labradore dog, heavy work walking with her, she has two leads and cost my neighbour £1,200. Back now a bit knackered but will be fine after lunch for my cycling. 😊 🚴
That is some Sunday morning. Mine has been my cycle.ake breakfast for me and kids. Lay on couch and watched world super bike race 2 and now thinking about a bath. Good luck on your 15k race
Not sure if I would have called it a race Johnny, I returned from that 🚴 cycle run, enjoyed it very much, it was run on quiet countryside B roads, not off the road altogether, only about 4 cars passed me on the road, now in the garden relaxing in the "not a cloud in the sky ☀ sunshine,"you and I have done quite a lot of exercising today, we deserve to relax. 😊 🏃 🚴🚶
I have been a cyclist since the age of 7, nowadays 7 is nothing, I have seen children as young as 4 on bikes without stablelisers, however, back then when I was 7 in 1953, 7 was what 4 is now. As far as running, I used to run at Primary school and won several sprints, probably due to all the cycling I did. When I got married I did not have a bike until my son got one when he was 10 so that we could go cycling together. I only started with C25K just over a year ago after seeing a promotion for it during the Scottish Great HM run on TV, that was in October 2017 but as it was getting on the winter, I held back until April 2018. I don't cycle as much now as I used to, about 1 run a week compared to around 4 a week many years ago, so running has helped me to fill in the gap, same with those other exercises, I have only been doing them over the last couple of years.
Funny you say that. My plan this week is heading to Portrush for Nw200, staying till sunday. Was going to do a few runs around the coast and on the beach, but with me not running for a while I'm going to take the push bike in the back of the car and do a few cycles before and after the races. Win win
