so I have tried lots of different gloves for my hands but to no avail as my hands always just turn white 🙈

I wondered what recommendations you have for gloves which may have worked for you ?

Thanks in advance 🙌🧤🧤

Gloves by themselves have never worked for me, even battery heated ones. What works perfectly is mittens with disposable hand warmers inside. I have just got a full box of hand warmers for this year through the post 😊

was just about to post an identical reply! Disposable hand warmers inside mitts so your fingers can curl round the warmer.

same for me! Hand and feet warmers! Sometimes I use for my back too, as I’m always cold 😞

Agree. And preferably sheepskin mittens. But so hard to manage when shopping

as well as heated gloves/ heated mittens/ hot rock rechargeable hand warmers - depending on what I’m doing - I swear by my hand muff when out and about. I wear normal gloves, keep my hands in the muff with a hand warmer, and whip a hand out quickly when fingers are needed to do anything. I always use a back pack or shoulder bag so I don’t have to keep my hands out.

Hi LadyTrundle, I love the muff idea and might just give it ago

I used fake fur inside and out - it traps a lot of air for extra insulation. Crucially, I put a layer of fleece towel (like you get in camping and outdoor shops) between the 2 fake fur layers, to stop the wind chill and have a cord to go round my neck, so when I take my hands out I don’t drop it.

When I next make one I might add a zip pocket either inside where your hands go, or on the outside - form money, phone and keys. I have a very vintage muff from a flea shop in Prague (astrakhan and horsehair, almost TOO hot!) that has a pocket and it’s really useful.

Gloves have never worked for me either but I find wrist warmers help quite a bit and rechargeable hand warmers I’ve got a collection but this is the one I find best
