Looking forward to a month with no hosp appts!!

Hello everybody, I hope you are all keeping as well as you can. It suddenly dawned on me that we are rapidly approaching the end of the year!!! Only because I was looking at my calendar, so I took the oppurtunity of looking at past months, and realised there were only 2 months where I wasn"t at a hospital appointment. So I am rather pleased that November is appointment free, and fingers crossed that December will be too. These past 2 weeks have been fighting the stiffness and the pain. I had a steroid injection in my left shoulder joint (due to severe pain) on Tuesday, apart from the pain I felt for 24 hours afterwards, which they warned me about, the pain seems to have subsided, hooray, lets hope it stays that way. Unfortunately I pulled a muscle in my right side of my neck a few weeks ago, and there were times when I couldn"t move my head at all! without crying. This usually happened at night, which suddenly made me aware that if I needed to call out a doctor or ambulance no one would be able to get in, so I am in the process of getting a key safe. Oh the joys of living on your own, not. On the upside, on Thursday I spent time in the garden, mowing the lawns and tidying up the borders. Talking of gardens, mine is becoming a magnet for wildlife, a visiting squirrel, who my granddaughter has christened Cyril, lots of different birds including a sparrowhawk, who has enjoyed a few sparrows and a collared dove!! Also a hedgehog has taken up residence in the hedgehog house. There is also another plus at this time of the year, the beautiful sunsets, and on some nights a sky full of stars shining brightly. So if you get the chance, wrap up warmly, cuddle a hot water bottle and take the time to look up, and marvel at what an awesome place our world is, in the middle of an endless universe. It also keeps us all connected wherever we are. Well that"s me for the time being, and don"t forget, Smile and wave folks, smile and wave xxx

What a lovely sentiment smile and wave . Bless you . I also have a hedgehog resident too. It's a compliment to you that the wildlife loves your garden . I was looking at the stars last night wishing I had a telescope . One star in particular seemed to be constantly moving spinning and changing colour . The moon was stunning last night too big shining and beautiful . Have a lovely day ! Smiling and waving to you . Jackie Doncaster England xxx
