Sickle Cell Trait

Hello everyone, I have the sickle cell trait that was passed down from my mother. She was a model and spokes person for the March of Dimes. I have had issues with this all my life. I remember my stomach hurting so bad I would be balled over into the fetal position and crying. I also had fever with hallucinations and I would feel like I am traped in a box and could not move from that spot. I would have real bad nose bleeds and one time I had to have my nose packed. When I got older I would always be cold and tired more than normal. I had a fibroid tumor the size of a grapefruit and smaller ones. I would cramp so bad and lose so much blood that I had to have a hysterectomy. I had an episode with my legs where I had poor circulation and a infection developed and I broke out in sores on my right leg and it spread to my left and I had Mersa. I had to be hospitalized and given antibiotics to kill the infection for four days. No one could tell me what or why. They thought it was a spider bite, but that came back negative. I finally went to a wound speacialist who healed them with medicated wraps that I had to wear and have changed weekly for about 3 months. I still have the scars. Now I am diabetic because I was given Depo shots instead of the Estrogen I was suppose to be getting and this caused my sugar to spiked to 585. I kept my ovaries and one stopped working and I had mood swings and was always tired. I had my gallbladder removed so I was always running to the restroom. I had to stop working immediately and I have alot of other health issues like sleep apnea, highblood pressure. I was born with a heart mumor. I have frybro myalgia, disc disease in my back, neurathpy in my feet and legs, siatic nerve damage, depression, I drop things all the time because I lose my grip. My bones pop and crack when I move. I have muscular skeletal issued. I hurt all over all day and need 3 differnt pain pills all day to keep my pain at a level I can tolerate, but my mind is foggy and I sleep most of the day. I have poblems sitting or standing to long. I have been trying to get disability, but they have denied me 3 times. I am so tired of struggling to keep a roof over my head, I also have a special needs son, so this is a lot to handle. I am praying for a positive outcome this time. In the meantime I will continue to pray for you as well and think positive.

I also had Metformin which did not agree with my body and it caused me to end up having surgery on my bottom. I could not sit, I would have to lay on my side. I would tear and heal and this went on for 4 months. I healed so tight I had problems using the restroom and had to be cut. I still have incontinence with urine and bm's, so I am wondering why I am having such a hard time getting disability.
