12 years with mbc. I am starting trodelvy on the 22nd. Extremely anxious as I read all the typical side effects. Anyone have any good experience on this drug. I’m still trying to fight!
Thank you

Congratulations on 12 years! Yes I was on Trodelvy for 13 months with manageable side effects. Tumors shrank 25%. I was able to travel across the country to visit family and kept up with friends. I am on Taxol now but wish I could be on another ADC. Trodelvy was easier for me than Taxol. Good luck.
I've been on Trodelvy for 13 months and good. My bone tumours have got smaller recently which is great. Side effects - complete hair loss, neuropathy in toes, and constipation. But all in all not too bad. Good luck and many congrats on your 12 years ❤
Thank you Tanyateresa
I have Mets to my bones and very recently, my liver. Good luck to you as well. It really sucks to be on this journey but with all my friends it somehow makes it a little easier. 🙏🏻
My wife has the same Met locations in her bones and now liver, just getting her first infusion with Trodelvy as I type this in the Cancer Center infusion room, we asked the Infusion staff about Neuropathy side effects and they all say is very uncommon, as we have used ice packs on her hands and feet in the past with Red Devil infusions and she did not get any Neuropathy, now we will request Ice Packs for future Trodelvy infusions, hopefully no diarrhea either, but we are prepared regardless. Prayers to all in this fight
Curious. How was the red devil?
It was Brutal, took her hair on 2nd infusion, then her fingernails over the next few infusions, and in her case, the tumor was still there in her left breast, along with 10 positive lymph nodes that were removed, but no clean margins after surgery. So a double mastectomy with reconstruction after 26 rounds of external radiation put the cancer to bay, but only for 1 1/2 years, then is became Met Bone Cancer. My wife had her 1st Infusion yesterday with Trodelvy, 3 /12 hours and 1/2 hour to monitor post infusion, She was tired, but no other side effects so far, she slept well too and today feels more energy!
12 years is wonderful, you are a fighter! Best of luck to you!
I've been on Trodelvy for a little over a year. All my hair is long gone, but my scans show that the cancer is no longer active, so that's a good trade off. I had some issues with diarrhea but have had quite a bit of relief by adding probiotic to my supplements. Other than that I seem to have chemo brain and fatigue a good bit of the time, but that certainly could be partially due to my age. I will be 71 in a few months. I hope you do well on it. Let me know if I can answer any questions!☺️
