Hello everyone! I haven’t posted in awhile because I have been trying to make it through my new chemo regime. I am on Trodelvy and seemed to hit the jackpot in experiencing lots of the side affects. I have had one full cycle of it. ( 2 doses at 100 percent strength). Lots of nausea that I don’t quite have a handle on, temps at night, headaches ect. My latest is dizziness. I feel kinda spacey. My neck is also super duper tight so maybe that’s it? I’m a bit panicky too which doesn’t help. I’m going to my primary care doc to get a cough checked out and will ask them. I have been in touch with onc and so far seem to think it’s all treatment related. I haven’t said anything about the dizzy. Anyway sure hope it’s working!! Hope everyone is doing well.

Hello Ticket123. I just finished Day 1 and Day 8 of Trodelvy. Hang in there. I am experiencing the rashes, loss of appetite, nausea,, constipation and diarrhea, however no dizziness, headaches or tight neck. The NP gave me a second Nausea med. I am waiting to hear back as to wether to increase the Imodium or try another anti-diarrheal. The NP told me they have other meds to treat the side effects and those meds work differently in everyone. However I am willing to keep going if it works. I feel lousy! Although yesterday someone told me I look great 😂
Hi Best521! I’m sorry you are feeling lousy. I have finished the first round also. I too have been having a hard time with this. I seem to get super nauseous for about 3 days after infusion. I might try acupuncture. Haven’t found a medication that helps yet. I got the Nulesta also. I ended up getting a sinus infection so am going on antibiotics. Definitely been raked over the coals here. Onc is still hopeful we can control Side Effects. Here’s hoping!! I bet you do look great!! Gotta keep rocking it!!!❤️
hi Carla - no experience of trodelvy and sorry it’s been so rough on you.Hope you find something that helps. I found ginger cordial very helpful when I had chemo. I drank gallons of the diluted stuff.
