Quick question - has anyone on Ibrance and Letrozole developed a skin rash of small random bumps that are itchy? I have been on my lovely “cocktail” since April ‘23 and have recently (in the past 2 weeks) developed a few annoying itchy bumps on my lower back. I will reach out to my Oncologist and Dermatologist tomorrow, but would love to hear from anyone who might have had the same experience. Thanks!

Hello! I did have a small rash on my hand and under my breast while on Ibrance and Letrozole. It was rather itchy. My oncologist prescribed some kind of cortisone cream and it worked great. The rash on my hand went away. I still occasionally get a rash under my breast and the cream works quickly to relieve it.
I am on the same meds as you since May 2019 and I got them on my hands. Extremely itchy. I see my oncologist Jan 2 so will talk to her about it then. Just keeping them well moisturized and it is getting better.
I had rashes as well. My onc suggested I take an antihistamine (i.e. Zyrtec). That along with moisturizing and drinking a lot of water did seem to help.
I got quite severe eczema on my legs and palm of one hand and my face (! I was glad people were wearing masks at that time) on palbociclib. Used cortizone cream. For some reason, that just stopped completely. I still have left over bumps on my torso. Not itchy. With my last medication switch, I got a blanket of tiny bumps on one flank. Not itchy.
Dermatologist said to moisturize, but I was skeptical...
Thanks TammyCross! I did read a study about skin changes with the CDK4/6 drugs and they seem to be a common occurrence itchy or not 😊 looking forward to finding out ways to manage them whether they disappear or not just like the idea I have some control over the bodily changes 😂. Happy Holidays!
Me!!! I get bad rashes when skin is exposed to the sun or I get excessively overheated. They are almost like little blisters and are SO itchy!! I try nor to scratch but sometimes it is a lost cause. I keep my skin covered in the sun and use a lot of lotion.
