My head gets a burning itch but only at night. I get severe night sweats and I thought maybe it was the sweating causing it but now I’m finding I’m waking up with an itchy head even if I’m not sweating. I have changed laundry detergent, tried two different anti itch shampoos but nothing is working. It’s only my head. I have put aloe Vera gel on my scalp which works but it’s hard to run in through my hair. Any ideas ?

If it is not a side effect of any cancer medication you are on, I would go to a dermatologist to see if they can recommend a cream or shampoo or medication. It's skin related so I think they should be able to help you.

I’ve tried a medicated shampoo and it was worse. I think it was too harsh.
I had this side effect for the first year or so of Ibrance but it has gradually diminished, and I only get this effect rarely. I never took any meds for it other than an occasional Benadryl. Good luck. 😎Kate
