Piqray

I recall reading that someone needed Piqray and was having difficulty getting funding. My onc switched me to Xeloda so I have a newly shipped package of Piqray from Novartis that I’d be happy to send if someone needs it.

I joined this group hoping to get some info on Piqray for a family member living overseas. Their main questions were the price of Piqray in Australia and is Alpelisib the most effective PIK3CA inhibitor. Thanks in advance Peter

hi there I have just finished 2 years on piqray plus Fulvestrant injections which were not easy, starting with severe rash and ending with osteonecrosis of the jaw plus never ending diarrhoea in between! So quite glad to be leaving it behind but the question is what to go onto next?

I’ve done a search on our blog but didn’t find anything specific…It’s been about 8 months on Piqray, and after an array of all the early side effects, I’m now dealing with painful finger tips and nails.

I'm on Piqray and faslodex right now but feeling like the end of this run is near so Im wondering g if there is anyone who has successfully returned to Ibrance with the addition of itovebi (inavolisib) and faslodex?

I have been on Verzenio, piqray, Xeloda and now Enhertu. I try to balance being hopeful and realistic. I don't believe there will be a cure in my lifetime but feel encouraged that new medications are being produced! My son is 12 and I would love to take him to college. 😘

Hello, I am wondering if anyone tried Truqap after having also been treated with Piqray? Prior to Piqray I was on Ibrance for 5 years. I switched to Piqray for 6 months. That was a year and a half ago. I had progression on Piqray and switched to Xeloda. On Xeloda for about 16 months.

I am currently on Flosodex and Piqray. Wondering about MRI or Biopsy? Med change? My head is spinning.💔

I’ve been on Piqray/Faslodex for about 18 months with generally stable scans with mild metabolic activity in the bone lesions. But my markers kept climbing and climbing, steepest in 2024.

I’m popping in to say I’ve been told, as of last Friday, I’m doing well on Piqray/Alpelesib and Fulvestrant. (Denocumab/Xgeva monthly) For any of you wondering how this regime is. For me it is going quite well but I must say, I have lost a lot of weight. (I could afford to) But.

It seems the Inavolisib has less side effects than Piqray which is what the onc suggested I try. What do y'all think of Fulvestrant injections vs. Letrozole? less side effects? Thanks and I think sharing information is vital!

I continued Piqray and had to start metformin. In May, I began experiencing increasing pain in my right hp where the cancer is located. Scans were ordered. The bone scan did not show any developments other than metastatic disease.

I am starting in 2 weeks and it's like piqray but less side effects. It came out 2 years ago and fda approved. I also have a mutation. Nervous about this drug and wanted any input? Thank you!!

The orthopedic oncologist is advising to wait and see, treat it with Zometa, Piqray, and light exercise, and eventually screws if it continues to aggravate me. The radiation doc wants to schedule a round of radiation to an area that was radiated 4+ years ago.

My doc wants to change me to Piqray and I have been tested and carry the mutation that this med is suppose to respond to. However….after multiple appeals and an external review,…..it has been denied. That is the insurance company’s final decision.

I tried Piqray but had a pretty severe reaction even on a lowered dose. This one is supposed to be a little more tolerable but I’m pretty nervous given my immediate reaction to Piqray.

Insurance refused Piqray and Xeldoda. Was fi ally put on full dose Taxol in Sept 2023 till end of Nov. Restarted at weekly lowered dose of Taxol in Jan 2024 along with Kinjinti and Faslodex. Had PET yesterday, not good...extensive bony progresstion and now, small pericardial effusion.

hi friends... so looks like my time piqray is coming to an end... latest pet scan showed a few more spots on liver!
