Have you been on Gemcitabine (Gemzar)?

Hello,

I am starting Gemcitabine tomorrow and am wondering if anyone has advice on this chemo? Is it well tolerated? A nurse told me today I should get a port, my Oncologist said I should be fine without one. I had a terrible time with Enhertu and extreme nausea, I’m hoping this drug won’t be as hard.

Feeling a little anxious tonight. 🥴

Don't be too anxious & remember that every one reacts differently to these drugs. I've had some chronic diarrhea, but I think that's only because my WBCs & RBCs have been so up & down lately. First they're normal, then they're too low, et.For the most part, I've responded pretty good to the drug.
