Had to share this beautiful Poem

[SunShineEveryDay]

TO THE WOMAN WHO IS SLOWLY FADING AWAY

To the woman who has lost her spark.

To the woman whose get up and go, has well and truly gone.

This is for you.

This is to remind you, that you don’t have to be everything to everyone, every day.

You didn’t sign up for that.

Remember when you used to laugh? Sing?

Throw caution to the wind?

Remember when you used to forgive yourself more quickly for not always being perfect.

You can get that back again.

You really can.

And that doesn’t have to mean letting people down or walking away.

It just means being kinder to you, feeling brave enough to say no sometimes.

Being brave enough to stop sometimes.

And rest.

It starts the moment you realise that you’re not quite who you used to be.

Some of that is good, some of that is not.

There are parts of you that need to be brought back.

And if anyone in your life is not okay with that… they are not your people. Your people will be glad to see that spark starting to light up again.

So, if you have been slowly fading away my friend, this is the time to start saying yes to things that bring you joy and no to things that don’t.

It’s really pretty simple.

Dear SunShineEveryDay -Thank you for asking. This whole year has been a Gotterdammerung. Thankfully, it is coming to an end and 2024 will be wonderful in comparison. It will begin on 2 January, with my boyfriend and I sailing away from the New York harbor, heading South to the warmth of the Caribbean, for ten days. Thursday, they will remove drains and wires from the gallbladder and hopefully, I will finally become human again. .Love to you and yours, Frances

So happy for you! My Ecuador retreat was a huge success and I’m already ready to put a deposit on a villa for ladies with stage 4, for February 4-11!! Wooo hooo!

Thanks for asking, I got started on Oserdu this month, side effects are not that bad but I was already fatigued and that is worse; the hot flashes are intense. So not at all as bad as some folks. I still do things and rest after. My grandkids have RSV it doesn't look like I'm getting it. I am very grateful for all the time I have had, grateful for my family, that I can sew and wash dishes and do laundry, grateful for you and this site. 🌺❤️🌺

I am 41/2 years in and still on first line of treatment. Struggling with UTIs and often nausea. But try to keep going.

Uggh those are so nasty! I was getting them too! And who wants to be on anti biotics all the time? Well just keep sipping on water and tea to flush things out! 😂

My vegetable juicing seems to help too! I’m wishing them away for you in 2024!

I say they should roll out the red carpet for me because I am the best actress EVER!! Oscar worthy for sure. When someone asks me, "How are you?" I say , "fine". And not "I'm so danged tired I feel like I'm pushing myself through the air. " some of it is me, I can't blame others. While I'm healthy enough I want to do it all!

I'm on Femara, so no estrogen! I yell my husband I'm living in dog years now. Thankfully he is 10 years older and still older than me!! Haha
