Natural alternatives to dexamethasone/steroids for anti-nausea prior to chemo?

Hi. I start my new treatment on Friday. It’s routine they give dexamethasone prior to I/v chemo for nausea. I don’t want steroids. Does anyone else have suggestions for other meds/natural alternatives? TIA x

I just wanted to add that I had a bad experience with Dex a few years back and in prepping for chemo now my oncology team said they could go with the minimum dose and monitor closely. I was told mine would be to prevent spinal cord damage due to inflammation.

It is in fact a short term dosing from what my oncologist told me, just before and just after the IV, then off till the next IV. Check and see how short of a duration you would need it for.
