I feel so much better to hear from other’s experiences living with MBC. I never thought I could find comfort in my situation. I am not alone In my journey.

Hello and welcome!

So happy that your finding comfort from this group of lovely ladies. Yup we’re all in the same boat ,unfortunately, but it’s good to be able to share experiences and to support each other.

Wishing you all the best with your treatments and I look forward to hearing more from you in the future.

You look like a strong and positive person with a beautiful warm smile.

Take care

Welcome to the group, Hotlantaphatz. You are beautiful! I hope you find as much support here as I have. It's the place I go when I've run out of answers...and a place where there's 24/7 support in these crazy times. Many Blessings, JeniMcC

Hello ! Just seen your lovely picture on here and wanted to welcome you ! I have been a member on here for just over 4 years ( but I do pop on and off to take a break from ‘Cancer’ ) and found it very supportive and have met some lovely ladies ( and a few gents ) from all over the world ! Do feel free to ask questions and let us know a little more about your diagnosis etc . Take care ! x

You are not alone. I hope you find here a place to find some comfort and understanding through our sharing of experiences and worries. We are all on this journey we never wanted. Welcome!

No indeed, you are not alone. I found this group in 2018 and am so grateful.

We are a supportive group and will help when we can. We have folks who bring wide experiences, medicine, motherhood, work situations, etc.

I’m pleased the group gives you comfort.

Also, this is great photo. Intelligence in your eyes, and warmth in your smile. Hang in there.

Interesting username! Beautiful photo! It is nice to see to whom we are writing. I hope you do find this group not only supportive but also useful in sharing experiences and information about the various treatments we are given. Sometimes, busy medical staff are less informative than they might be; also, a few are less competent than they realize. Some of your peers here do quite a bit of online research, while others are longtime patient advocates.

You can always bring any questions or concerns you have here. Welcome!

Take care of you,

Hugs,

Cindy

I was going to ask the same thing. The way the photo is set suggests that you might be the painter. It goes with you, anyway and compliments you, as you do the picture. Welcome to this place where we don't want to be but are drawn to it for wonderful comradeship, knowledge, advice, mental stroking, love-sharing and sisterhood. (Men: Sorry to be elitist but this is basically for us women. We own it.

HiWelcome to the group. I found the group by chance and it’s the best thing ever. I have been made to feel so welcome over the last year and hope I can pass that onto others. It’s a comfort in your mind that there are friends you can reach out to that really understand. My friends and family that do know react in different ways sometimes such bizarre comments meant in good faith make me smile or grimace lol but it’s so different on here, people really know how it feels and what you do need or more importantly don’t need. On here you’re not beating your head trying to explain the Cancer to people , they are already living it and that’s the comfort. It’s a much easier starting point.

I hope you can continue to get much support and comfort from the lovely people here. Have a lovely day.

Hugs

That is true Debra. I never thought about it that way. All the kindness and information we get as well. There is no way for me to articulate the value this has for me and so many other MBC people.

Welcome! I am a newbie to this wonderful group! I love your photo! Who wouldn't want to be friends with you looking so happy and friendly as you obviously are! So glad I found this group of angels and I know you will be as well! I'm bald in this photo but I'm happy to say that I just started to grow a few sprigs of hair! If only they weren't on my chin! I know exactly what you mean - my family and friends are wonderful and supportive, but they don't really know. These folks know. They're living it. They get it. And that's a comfort to me.

So, feel free to share whenever you want, pretty lady. We're here to listen.

Warm hugs

Susan

My fam and friends are afraid to talk about the Stupid Cancer! Treating me differently. I try to tell them I am still fun, crazy, opinionated, and feeling blessed. So don’t handle me with kit gloves! I love them still

Welcome! I’m a fairly new member - was diagnosed with MBC last April. The wonderful women in this group have provided more comfort, information and inspiration than anything or anyone else has.

Welcome Hotlantaphatz I believe you will find this group wonderful and very supportive. Last October I felt lost and in shock, being diagnosed with MBC after 13 years of quiet… I got a lot of confort from everybody and I just saw my oncologist today and he said to keep doing what I was doing because everything was looking good. I feel so relieved!

Welcome to this site. You will find the ladies here supportive and full of good advice. This site has been a Godsend for me. It is so good to have a place to share experiences and know that the other ladies and gentlemen on the site are going through similar things. Hope you do well on your treatments. Sending hugs.
