I was on Halaven before GEMZAR but that was a night mare. To strong …

I have Mets in my liver, bones and right side of my stomach…

I’ve adopted well on GEMZAR so I’m praying my PetScan on Friday is stable.

I’ve been in this journey since 2005 December

I had 4 rounds of treatments on gemzar. I tolerated it really well. Biggest issue was fatigue and my palliative care doctor prescribed me Ritalin. I took half of the smallest dose and it was a game changer. There are many in my clinic that are having success with gemzar. Unfortunately my Mets increased so it wasn't the right drug for me. I hope this works for you .. thank you for sharing your experiences . I’ve been on this journey fir a couple years now.. and it’s exhausting . My doctor says I’ve probably had lobular cancer ( missed on annual mammograms and ultrasounds for 10 years already. Stage 4 now…
