Hope this finds all ok. I started a tempt job a week ago. I was informed this yesterday morning that the job ended. I probably was not fast enough, it was assembly work. I am doing ok health wise. They reduced the dosage I was on with Xedoa , I feel better. Next blood work will be done end of June, will see what it says. I felt a little depressed yesterday, but today will be a better day. I had a security weekend job as a guard. I asked the company if I could go back to doing that, they said yes I could come back so at least I have some work. I am receiving assistance so thank God for that (unemployment, social security, ex husband). I had three part time jobs, lost two of those because of the virus. I hope I am not whining too much guys, I am sure most of us are struggling in one way or another.

I am so sorry you are dealing with unemployment issues while going through everything else. You seem very resourceful with a great attitude and I would think most employers would want to hire someone like you.
Hi Susie,
I am so sorry to hear that you have lost your job. I hope you received some redundancy money when you left. It's good news that you can go back to your previous job. Is it just weekend work, or could you ask for more hours? Hopefully you have enough money to get by. You don't want to be worrying about money as well as your health.
You are certainly not whining. Even if you were, you would have a right to air your grievances. I run my own pet sitting and dog walking business. Fortunately, I have been able to carry on with my dog walks during this pandemic, but all of my pet sits were cancelled from March to the beginning of June, as clients' holidays were cancelled. So I lost a lot of income from March-June. But then I received a letter from the government and I found out that as a small business owner I was entitled to some financial support. It has really helped and now my pet sits have started picking up again. Summer is one of my busiest times.
I’m sorry about your new job. It’s good you can go back to security work and that you have support from other places. It’s normal to feel down when things like this happen. MBC is frustrating on top of everything else it is. We are always here ❤️
You are not whining, just stating the facts! Hopefully with the economy starting to grind forward again, you will find some more jobs. Can you apply for disability now that you have cancer? Elaine
Ahhh thank you. I am on social security, can't have both but that's ok because with social security I can work, with disability couldn't. I turn 66 next month, with social security I can make about as much as I want to (not over $1000000, I could make up to $30.000 a year on what I make).
