Anyone that has been on Doxil, or Eribulin

Good morning to all my breastfriends,

I pray each and everyone of you is doing great. I have a question on anyone that has been on Doxil, or Eribulin. What side effects did you girls experience and were you able to work? I am unable to take time off from work right now, and I'm afraid from my latest marker readings that the Abraxane and Gemzar are not working as they were. I've been on them for about 10 months now. Dr. mentioned next step would be, either Doxil or Eribulin. MBC to the liver, non symptomatic. Anyone, that has had experience that can help ease my fear, please write to me.

I took Doxil for six months. Other than fatigue and mild mouth sores I didn’t find it too intrusive.

I pray that's all the treatment you needed.

It didn’t work too well for me. So we switched to something else. But that does not mean it won’t work well for you. Good luck

I work, I have 3 kids. I am a bit afraid of the what next, because I am a single mom, I widowed several years ago. Things were really bad for me when first diagnosed and oral medication brought it down some, but it kept coming back. Now I am on Abraxane and Gemzar. Markersare starting to go up, and the Drs mentioned Doxil or Eribulin.

I just appreciate so much that you replied, and that I don't feel completely alone.

Hi How are you doing now? I am supposed to go on abraxane due to progression to the liver and abdomen. I am very scared. What treatment are you now? Thanks ,
