Immunotherapy together with Abraxane

Dear All, I am starting Immunotherapy together with Abraxane on Friday 17.12.21. I am scared of side effects of treatment. I was diagnosed July 2019. Stage 4 BBC. I was put on Ibrance and letrozol. Had Masectomy August 2020 & Radiotherapy. Medication stopped working.

How long before we know if Abraxane and Atezulizumab are working?

My wife is about to go for her second injection of Abraxane today, then one more next week of Abraxane and Atezulizumab next week to conclude this cycle. She has triple neg breast cancer in her lungs. She has a bad cough and trouble breathing which of course is making life difficult.

Praise be to GOD!

Because of my high TMB (90th percentile), and my PDL - 1, I was put on Keytruda/Abraxane. I just had a PET/CT scan done after 6 treatments of Abraxane and 3 treatments of Keytruda. I am happy to say that my pet scan results are WONDERFUL!

Starting Abraxane and Atezulizumab.

Anyway, we start Abraxane and Atezulizumab (immunotherapy) as she's PDL1. We were talked out of Capecitabine as first line as the immunotherapy has shown good long term results.

Bed ridden after chemo Abraxane and Atezulizumab?

Hello ladies and gentlemen! My wife is in the above treatment, 3 weeks on, one week off. She's only done one cycle, just starting the second. Too early to tell if it's working, seems to be but my question is how should she be feeling? After treatment on Friday she goes to bed and stays there until Sunday

Visiting the Block Centre in Chicago? Help!

Susie has just been taken off Abraxane and Atezulizumab as it wasn't working after 4 infusions and will start Cabectabine on Monday. They have now discovered lots of Mets in her brain, one 5cm so we really need to get on top of this and NOTHING we've done so far has, it just keeps progressing.

Should I continue Abiraterone for 12 months, or switch to chemotherapy now?

MO said likely chemo with Abraxane and Carboplatin in Nov 2021 if my PSAs don't improve. I see him on 27 July for lab tests and discussion. I'm Gleason 9 with micrometastatic PC. MO confirmed previously that STATISTICALLY I'd likely live only another couple years at this rate.

New Chemo Vinorelbine/Navelbine

After only 3 months on Abraxane the scan showed progression on several places on bones! My oncologist said it is a “mixed reaction” some tumors have shrunk, but some of them have increased in size and few new ones! He talked about several options and we decided to go with Vinorelbin weekly!

Chemo and Abdominal issues. Weekly Taxol/Abraxane

Morning precious people, I just wondered if anybody has had the same abdominal trouble with weekly Taxol/Abraxane.

Anyone that has been on Doxil, or Eribulin

I am unable to take time off from work right now, and I'm afraid from my latest marker readings that the Abraxane and Gemzar are not working as they were. I've been on them for about 10 months now. Dr. mentioned next step would be, either Doxil or Eribulin. MBC to the liver, non symptomatic.

Question about Gemzar aka Gemcitabine Hcl

I have been on Abraxane for four months, but my liver numbers and tumor markers have taken a rather abrupt u-turn in the last month, so tomorrow we switch to Gemzar. I would be so grateful for any shared wisdom as well as prayers. I also am having a PleurX catheter installed next Wednesday.

Abraxane/Taxol, mixed response and what are they draining?

Hi lovely ladies, I recently posted about cannon balls in my abdomen, it turns out I’ve been growing a cyst which oncologist thinks could be a reaction to chemo, undecided as yet. (Only took 6 weeks to eventually examine me!)) Onc said Cyst needed draining but hospital admission letter for tomorrow

Chemo Neuropathy on fingers

As it was my last chemo, they may not give me one as it was single dose of Abraxane. Has anyone been in this situation? What are they doing to solve this? Thanks so much

New regime for Primary Peritoneal grade 4 and breast/axilla grade 3.

I am to have Abraxane (hopefully won't react to this taxane as the carrier is different), Avastin, Herceptin and Perjeta. Having it in one session, 3 weekly and I suspect it will knock me for six. Anybody out there had a similar combination?

Abraxane

Does anyone know about Abraxane? A friend has moved to this instead of Paclitaxel and apparently it's a much shorter treatment. An hour or half an hour rather than 5 hours. I wondered if anyone here knew about it?
