Abraxane

I am feeling better and tolerating Abraxane! I am now on my fifth cycle. I have some tummy issues (trust me you don’t want to know the details lol!) but I am dealing with it. I do experience neuropathy pain in feet and fingers.

Abraxane is working! Scan results coming soon!

Helllo everyone I want to buyt abraxane and I cant find it in Turkey and it is so expensive I have12 boxes on my receipt so I want to pay it but not that huge amounts .

Now on round one (3 infusions) of Abraxane. So far ok. A great deal of tummy issues diarrhea etc and definitely hair loss!!! I cut my hair today ; tired of seeing it all over the house. lol I feel ok better than expected. I will keep you posted.

Hi ladies, I’m absolutely over the moon to hear that my oncologist has been able to get the Abraxane chemotherapy funding for me!

Now that I am a baldie, 🧑‍🦲I choose to embrace the new look.👀 I will admit it was jarring when I looked up from the floor full of hair and the buzz of the clippers. I didn’t freak 🤪out but I just looked at myself in the mirror. Glad I have a round head with appropriate size 👂s! lol! My son says

from May to Nov. 2021 Olaparib until March 2022 Cisplatin and Gemzar April to Nov 22 Jan to May 2023 cancer spread from my lymph nodes to my liver and exploded cytotoxin, Keytruda and avastin to June 2023 was in a wheelchair and making preparations for my death yes it was that bad Switched to Abraxane

Hi all, apologies if this question has been asked in the past. It's now 4 weeks from my 6th and last chemo (carboplatin and nab paclitaxel). I used the cold cap but it didn't exactly work on the crown of my head. I now have "some" hair on the scalp, honestly almost enough for me not to be embarrassed

Hello, I started Abraxane two weeks ago and I chose to have a try with cold capping. I was hopeful to preserve my hair, but this morning I started to lose a small quantity. I read many cancer patients have good results with this practice and some lose only about 30%-50% of their hair.

I am on Abraxane now. I did four treatments. They probably accumulate. With every treatment I vomit more and more. Pills do not help. My doctor lowed the dose. Did not help either. The next one for me is ENHURTU. Please share if you vomit on ENHERTU. Thank you Best, Marina

I'm starting abraxane infusions on August 12 and my doctor said that the cold mitts/booties can help prevent neuropathy.

Today I was told that I have yo be switched to weekly abraxane infusions. It was my biggest fear. Please please share your experience if you are on this treatment. Thank you so much Marina

Morning precious people, I just wondered if anybody has had the same abdominal trouble with weekly Taxol/Abraxane.

Hi lovely ladies, I recently posted about cannon balls in my abdomen, it turns out I’ve been growing a cyst which oncologist thinks could be a reaction to chemo, undecided as yet. (Only took 6 weeks to eventually examine me!)) Onc said Cyst needed draining but hospital admission letter for tomorrow

Dear All, I am starting Immunotherapy together with Abraxane on Friday 17.12.21. I am scared of side effects of treatment. I was diagnosed July 2019. Stage 4 BBC. I was put on Ibrance and letrozol. Had Masectomy August 2020 & Radiotherapy. Medication stopped working.

Because of my high TMB (90th percentile), and my PDL - 1, I was put on Keytruda/Abraxane. I just had a PET/CT scan done after 6 treatments of Abraxane and 3 treatments of Keytruda. I am happy to say that my pet scan results are WONDERFUL!

Susie has just been taken off Abraxane and Atezulizumab as it wasn't working after 4 infusions and will start Cabectabine on Monday. They have now discovered lots of Mets in her brain, one 5cm so we really need to get on top of this and NOTHING we've done so far has, it just keeps progressing.

Hello ladies and gentlemen! My wife is in the above treatment, 3 weeks on, one week off. She's only done one cycle, just starting the second. Too early to tell if it's working, seems to be but my question is how should she be feeling? After treatment on Friday she goes to bed and stays there until Sunday

My wife is about to go for her second injection of Abraxane today, then one more next week of Abraxane and Atezulizumab next week to conclude this cycle. She has triple neg breast cancer in her lungs. She has a bad cough and trouble breathing which of course is making life difficult.
