I am on Ibrance - letrozole and monthly zoladex. Over the last few weeks I am feeling nauseous periodically throughout the day. I am pretty stressed and anxious at the moment. Just wanted to ask, does anyone get nausea from this regime ? Thanks

So happy things have been working for you so far. I use the Ondansetron ODT 8mg when nauseated and it helps. I have heard it can cause constipation, but, since that has always been a way of life for me I haven’t noticed.
I bet it’s the COVID vaccine. I felt funny afterwards and actually had the throw ups 2 times within 3 days of each other. I thought it might be something else too but now I think it really could’ve been the shot.
Hello Never had nauseas with Ibrance/Letrozole but in case of my oncologist prescribed Ondansetron. Also ginger is good to help with nauseas (ginger tea/ginger gum) but check with your pharmacist if it’s okay with your treatments. I hope you will feel better soon.
I had nausea for a bit during my first cycle on Ibrance and Letrozole. I started taking ginger chews called Chimes which I bought on Amazon and drinking ginger/lemon or ginger/turmeric tea and those things really helped. Good luck to you.
Thanks all for your responses. In the past I have suffered from dizziness - altogether may be a combo of the regime - covid after month now kicking in and my general dizziness. Always worry though as I do ! Also love being on the platform, everyone is so supportive ! X
Try taking a nausea pill 15 min or so BEFORE taking the meds. I found this helped immensely when I was going thru a period of nausea. Even if I didn’t know whether or not the nausea was going to happen with a dose, I took a compazine beforehand.
I have been on Letrozole for almost 3 years and around every 2 weeks I get nausea and go off my food for a couple of days. I also get a lot of muscle and bone pain and insomia with it. My Oncologist does not want me to go off it as it is keeping my cancer at bay. I went off it for 10 days as had other medical problems 12 months ago and did not have any off these problems.
I am.on Letrozole, 75 mg of Ibrance and xgeva shots, yes I get nauseous a good bit and have to take the sublingual zofran. These meds have some rough side effects. My joints hurt so bad. I was diagnosed May 13th 2019 with bc in both breast but a different bc in each breast and several mets to the bone. My last scans were stable!
