Welcome on here ! I’m sorry you have lost both your taste and smell, whilst on Ibrance /Letrozole. How long have you been on this protocol ? It’s not something I have personally experienced , despite being on these meds for nearly three years , but I know some people get a metallic taste which can’t be pleasant . I place my capsule at the back of my tongue and only keep it there a split second , swallowing it with lots of water straight away , so I don’t taste it . Make sure you are drinking lots of water at all times ! Also these are also said to be symptoms of the Covid virus ... could that be a possibility ? Take care x

That is a symptom of Covid which I just recently recovered from. Never had that problem on Ibrance or Letrozole.

I have diminished taste and loss of appetite. Foods I think I would like to eat don’t taste right when I try to eat them. First time in my life I need to gain a bit of weight and it is hard.

I am trying to eat smaller and more frequently with higher protein concentrations but not too successful so far.

Hi. I’ve only been on letrozole for nearly a year. No problems with taste or smell. My issue is with tingling and burning in my hands and fingers. My B12 is way below low normal so I’m taking a supplement to help with that with some relief. I saw a naturopath doctor before starting my pill ( which I take at bedtime and swallow quickly with water). He has helped me find supplements to take with my vitamins that help me better absorb my calcium and vitamin D. Wish I had better advice. You might seek one out...God bless

Hi. I’m back. Found this web site with interesting ideas. All natural. If anybody has tried them with success maybe they can add to this. And of course always check with your onc to make sure it’s ok for you to try them. Good luck. Hang tough. ❤️🙏bing.com/fd/ls/GLinkPing.as...
