Stable Mabel here! CT results no progression since last scans in January. So relieved as I have been on Ibrance/letrozol since May of 2018 ...hoping it was still working.
Is anyone familiar with “Toxic Granulation Present”, Elliptocytes, and Tear Drop Value 1+. in bloodwork results. Is this anemia? Onc didn’t seem concerned...caused by meds.
I was wondering if I could change diet or maybe take vitamins?
Thank you ladies for all you do to support all of us through this board!

Maura, that is really excellent news about stable on scans !!
Regarding the notes on your labs...Gosh, I have no idea! I'm sure someone with some knowledge/experience will respond (I'm eager to learn about it...), but I'd say if the doc's not worried, then you shouldn't be either, i.e. you can celebrate freely!
Thanks for sharing your news, and the beautiful picture, too! Home grown tomatoes are the best!!
Thank you Lynn! I was anxious this time...haven’t been out much to exercise with covid lurking around but I’m so relieved! My garden has been my therapy.
Sandra, thank you for putting my worries to rest. I had no clue...
I’m always so afraid they are going to miss something. Like my negative mamo results every year...I kept telling them something was wrong as the left mamo pic was so painful. We need better diagnostics for our yearly exams.
Thanks again Sandra. I hope you are doing well and enjoying your summer.
Thanks Sarah, I appreciate that and will take this report and be happy until next scan in 6 months. Maybe we’ll have a vaccine for Covid by then! How are you doing?
Chemo is really kicking my butt, so my oncologist lowered my dose by 20% hoping to find the right balance that keeps things from progressing plus gives me a decent quality of life.
I’m sorry to hear you are having a rough go of it. I hope the reduced dosage will beat back the cancer and get you to feeling better. This is not an easy road for us. I’m sending you healing thoughts and prayers that will get you back to feeling better soon. ❤️
