Got my mom’s scan results. All is stable with slight decrease in tumor sizes🙏🙏🙏. She’s been on Ibrance and letrozole for 10 months now and I hope she’ll be on it for many years:). Did anyone of you ladies with several lung mets got significant decrease in tumor sizes and how long did it take ?
Thank you ❤️🙏

Thank you ❤️❤️🙏🙏.My mom’s nodules decreased for 5 mm during past 10 months of treatment. She has 2 measurable and 4 non-measurable. Your approach is 100% right just wanted to know if anyone had significant decrease
Yes my sisters lung mets disappeared apart from the largest which is reducing a bit more slowly. That was in 6-9 months !
Such wonderful news, and I hope your Mum is feeling well on the treatment.I never ask for details of my scans. Here in the UK everything is, shall we say, simpler, so a stable result is all I need to hear.
She is not bad,she has headaches very often. We had head mri 6 months ago and everything was ok,except mild pan-sinusitis. Maybe that causes headaches or treatment side effects makes it worse
Sinusitis does cause headaches, and can’t be very nice. Those salt water washouts are supposed to help, but they sound very uncomfortable. Does she drink plenty of water? We need to drink at least 2 litres a day with these medications. I am forever peeing my pants!!
No,she doesn’t. I keep telling her that she needs to drink water. She has overactive bladder and doesn’t want to drink water to make it worse. She also has insomnia and takes pills for that. Restoril (tamezopam), even with medication she doesn’t sleep enough. After menopause she got problems with sleeping.
Bless her that’s frustrating for her. I’m not a great sleeper since being put into menopause. I need a fan on all night, which I do find helpful.Unfortunately, as we age our bodies naturally swap from day time peeing to night time, it’s just one of those things that happens as part of the ageing process and no amount of liquid or lack of liquid changes that.
