Just thought I’d share this short prayer to keep us going through tough times...

If things get tough today, Lord - and in all hard times - let me stay motivated and calm. Let me look at how far I have come rather than how far I still have to go. Let me continue counting my blessings, not what I’ve been missing. May everyday bring new chances to grow, new beautiful things to see, new plans to do, and new goals to pursue, as every new day is Your miracle day. Amen.

You don’t even know how much I needed this today! After dealing with this cancer, I fell and broke my femur bone and am getting so discouraged with trying to heal! God is THE ONLY source that can get us all through these ties! So thank you for sharing that beautiful prayer, I will keep it as a firm reminder of His love for all of us! We all go through tough times and sometimes we reach the point of desperation. When I came across this prayer, I knew I had to share it because I know that I’m not the only going through tough times, I’m glad it helped you as it helped me.

What a beautiful prayer!

I keep the serenity prayer taped to my bathroom mirror and often read it to calm my nerves:

“God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference.”
