Well friends, this morning I heard of the parting of someone I used to work with from MBC. She was not in our group, was diagnosed a few months ago and sadly hadn't responded to treatment.
This gives me a kick up the butt. I was given 26 years after my first tumour and now I'm improving on my current treatment regime. Whatever your beliefs in life, there must be a reason. So I'm going to get out there and make the most of every minute, hour, day, month and year that I have. Let's all do the same, and may your God be with you! ♥️ Have a happy healthy day.
Oh and by the way my real name is Carolyn!
The photo is me in February working on my project in Nicaragua.

Absolutely Caroline, we’ve got to be here for something! Bless you xx
Hi Carolyn,
I'm sorry to hear of your work colleague's death. It sounds like her cancer was very advanced by the time of her diagnosis, which is why she did not have long to live.
It's nice to learn your real name and to see a picture of you! I know some ladies prefer to remain anonymous and never reveal their real names on here, which is absolutely fine and up to them. But I like it when we can learn each other's names, as it isn't really easy to get to know someone if you don't know their name.
I am so sorry to hear about your colleague. I just recently lost my friend to MBC she was only 42 and had young children. I’m still trying to come to terms with it but like you I am trying to savor everyday! Sending ♥️
Hello Carolyn, wow congratulations! Such a wonderful lady. God bless you on your endeavors

Carolyn, I'm so sorry for the loss of your colleague. Yes, we must enjoy every day we have. Many Blessings to you.
Carolyn— it’s not always possible for me to stay positive- but I so appreciate this group because you help me keep things in perspective. Yes, every minute, day is a gift! Thanks for your post.
I was feeling a little low as our holiday to France planned for September has just been cancelled. I was feeling so sorry for myself thinking cancer during COVID is so grim with all the restrictions.
BUT your email has made me realise that I need to enjoy every minute of life, no matter what - no time for low moments.
The work you have done in Nicaragua is so inspirational - well done you 👍
Okay, I'll bite. Why, if your name is Carolyn, is your name on this is site Beryl71?
I whole heartedly agree with you that we must make every moment in our lives be an important one and one that is lived well and fully, and so I try to.
Your post, Carolyn, is very timely. The sadness on the site is palpable today, with some of us realizing that there can be little time between stability and progression. But, you have made us smile and given us hope and reminded us that even if it’s a little time, it is precious. Thank you!
Hi Carolyn , I just saw this post and want to extend my condolences. I love your picture and your post to encourage us to live each day . There are no guarantees other than we will all pass one day if not from cancer from something else. I wish for everyone to have as long and safe productive lives as much as possible. 💙💙💙
