I can not believe my Christmas plants have survived this long. It pleases me to know that the one from 2018 survived as it was the one we bought when Dad was with is for Christmas and it was his last Christmas with us before he passed away. They are both Poinsettia plants.
CT scan Wednesday. First one since February. Hope everyone is feeling ok.
Pretty plant...I have Christmas cacti that get flowers at that time of year but pointsettas are something else!
Good luck to you and Staysha this week with your scans...if you’re anything like me you’ll be panicking over the results...hope the wait isn’t too long and your results are good
I have a sunflower that has amazingly lasted, will flower soon, now at hospital waiting for treatment, had to have bloods done as gp couldn't do them, get results of my ct scan next week. Good luck with your scan
Hope treatment went well today. My GP doesn’t do bloods now either. Interesting you have a sunflower survive. I’ve planted 5 at our allotment. When they Flower I will take a photo.
Yeah treatment went well, better now it's only 3 months, next week get results from scan. Will take a pic of my sunflower when it flowers, looking forward to seeing yours.
I can’t get my poinsettias to keep their leaves either. When we lived in central Florida, I planted one outSide after Christmas and it actually bloomed the next year. I was both surprised and amazed! My Christmas cacti do great, but they mostly bloom around Thanksgiving. I try for an amaryllis at Christmas but my timing is usually off on those too! Yours are doing so well, your name is very fitting!
I adore,Christmas Cacti. I have one that flowers at Christmas and one that flowers Easter. I’m just a plant nerd really. Wish it was warm enough in the UK to plant a Poinsettia outside. There is a tree that looks beautiful. I love Amaryllis but have never grown any. You will have to post some photos on here if you have any luck with them.
