Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas to all you wonderful ladies as we share this journey in loving support. If you have ever questioned what should I be eating and why, this is the book for you! Dr Li released this book in March of this year and is the best book I have read so far on the subject of nutrition. It is empowering!

He not only begins by explaining the key mechanisms of the body (I don’t have an educational background in science - found this so helpful and interesting) but he explains it so a lay person can understand it.

There was so much I didn’t understand about what I eat and how it is used in my body. This book has fine tuned my choices before I head to the grocery store. I shared this book with my Onc last week and he said this guy is the real deal and ordered a copy. I just had to share this book with you all.

Merry Christmas and Happy and Stable New Year for all!

Treat yourself to a new book for Christmas gift to yourself! Dr Li is best known for leading the Angiogenesis Foundation. He also hosted a TED Talk “Can We Eat to Starve Cancer?”

Merry Christmas! 🎄 I truly believe there are a lot of environmental factors to this! And what we eat is important. 😀

Yes, this book deserves a second look. A lot of what he writes makes sense — “our bodies were designed to fight disease and food can amplify this hidden power.”

I’ve added this to my “tool box” !

Thanks for this. I am making chili now and will have roast beef for Christmas then back to my almost vegan low inflammation cancer diet. I have become fascinated by how food works in the body—even if it won’t “cure” me, I feel so much better, so this will be an interesting read.

I find myself highlighting and underlining a lot of information in this book...good reference source. Also can you get TED Talks?

Yes, Dr Li did a talk on his anti-angiogenesis research and how one can help heal the body with the foods we eat.
