I made it another 6 months. I had petscan today. All cancer is still sleeping, not active. I get to stay on current meds. I am Er+pr+ and Her2- with PIK3. Piqray and fluvesterant is still taking care of my Mets. - Diagnosed stage Nov 4, 2020. Numerous Mets to liver, lungs, spine, pelvis, ribs, 2 fractures in spine. I was full of Mets. Took Verzenio with letrezole was my first line treatment for 10 months. Got NED after 6 months. 4 months later on the PET SCAN saw slight progressions. PIQRAY since Oct 2021.. PETSCANs every 5 months showing NED AND NEAD.
NED is used in describing no evidence in tissue/organs.. NEAD is used in describing no evidence of active disease in bones. There will always be evidence due to healing/scarring on bones, but not have active cancer cells.

You are doing so amazing. Congratulations and thank you for sharing your wonderful news with us. Although I am not a candidate for Piqray I'm sure your news will be encouraging to many as it often gets not so favorable reviews. May it continue to work for you for a long time. Take care.
Glad to see you are doing well on Piqray. So many have come here to post about the bad side effects of Piqray that the thought of taking the drug, should it be in my future, was down right scary. However based on your success I would feel much better about going on it, if needed.
Piqray is not scary. Plus it gives us one more med to try. Just have to get the side effects under control much like all the other treatments. I have seen many doing bad on piqray and many doing good. Hard to use each others experiences and diagnoses because we see so many different outcomes and symptoms. I will make it to 3 years since diagnosis in Nov. I had so many Mets in my bones, liver and lungs I thought I was a goner. Good luck with your treatment.
So happy for you Kaylab and thank you for sharing your good news, always good to hear encouraging news. Holding you in our thoughts and hoping for the v best for you 🙏
So happy for your wonderful news! I hope that you will continue to do well on this protocol and not have any unwelcome side effects. Sending you hugs and prayers.
