As you know, I recently lost my lovely mum. I’m pleased that mum lived a long & very happy life.

Mum had four children and we are all getting on well & making funeral arrangements.

Whilst sorting through pics I came across this beautiful photo of mum & dad with their wedding cake & wanted to share it with you. Dad served in the grenadier guards & was awarded a British Empire Medal.

I’ve been very fortunate to have such lovely parents, but I miss them both so much.

Hi sunny, so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. I just lost my mother recently as well, the funeral was last Wednesday. All of the details of planning the funeral can be quite exhausting. Bless you during your time of grief. For me the tears come and go intermittently oh, for some reason I still have not had that real big cry. My mom was 80 years old.

Hi sending you a hug 🤗, my mum was 91 - she lived a long & happy life. I feel numb and haven’t cried much either. Mum’s funeral is on Monday 17 February. The undertakers are very busy at the moment... I’m exhausted too .... I’m also still suffering from pain in my back that is also getting me down a bit.
