Enjoying fresh cherries in Oregon! This was last week. Today I made chocolate cake with two other grandsons. We didn’t have time to finish, so we will ice it tomorrow with all sorts of fun goodies.
I have to admit that after making cake, taking the dog for his exercise, and waiting on my husband who had knee surgery on Tuesday, I took a nap! Elaine

Oregon is such a beautiful state! My brother lives along the coast and just thinking about the rocks and shore line makes me smile! Add cherrys -- doesn't seem like it could be much better, though adding grandchildren is pretty great, too! Here in MIchigan, we have cherrys, too, and the Lake Michigana shore is nice, but not Pacific Ocean nice! lol
