Organised a coffee morning at work in Durham City today. Raised 260pounds for Macmillan Cancer support as part of the great Uk coffee morning. Really pleased, met some lovely people , it’s amazing how cancer affects so many of us in the community, and on my last day of Ibrance before the week off thought I would be shattered by 3pm but was ok.
Off to Scottish Borders for our wedding Anniversary celebration tomorrow just an overnighter.

Congrats to you and Sandra. On Sept. 9th we celebrated our 61st Anniversary. Can't believe it. Still going strong. Enjoy your little vacation. I just had a two day break from home by myself visiting old friends. So lovely. Wishing you both well.

Thanks Sandra. Don't say that. I feel like we are on the threshold of finding a cure. Is that unrealistic? I mean in 10 yrs time or less.
You can make that with the new meds coming out all the time. I think we all have reason to hope.

Well done Debra. That’s great news. Unfortunately there is not to much awareness of MBC. So many folks are not aware of it. I must admit I was ignorant to it. I had Breast Cancer 2013 the. Got the all clear 5years later. Then wham bang, diagnosed with MBC more or less everywhere. These research charities need support.
