So my mum got her liver biopsy results from her oncologist yesterday it is breast cancer like her thought as we did too! Anyways it’s still er positive with her 2 expression so he’s decided to go ahead with weekly taxol and hercepten. But she also has HETEROGENEITY which means not all her cancer cells are the same some are more positive than others some are negative and some are full positive and vice versa. I didn’t understand what that meant until her oncologist explained it to us yesterday. He said with her only having expression of her2 there won’t be any harm in adding hercepten. I hope this treatment works for her as ibrance and letrozole didn’t. Xx

All the different types of cancer is so confusing. A shame the letrozole and Ibeance didnt work but good luck to your mum with new meds. X
I'll be praying for good treatment results for your mum.
Praying for good results! Once the cancer is under control ask to be switched to Perjeta/Herceptin every 3 weeks...😀...been on it for the better part of 3 years...no real side effects...I go to work after wards. Work full time and run 2 ministries...😀...
