Hello, I had my liver biopsy today and will receive results next week. Not sure what to hope for. I am almost triple negative so I would qualify for clinical trials for triple negative if my slight estrogen was gone but if it increased more targeted therapies could be considered.
Magee Women's hospital took excellent care of me. I am in good hands.

What happened after your biopsy???
It was determined that I am triple negative. I am on my third chemo in one year. It is my liver and hat keeps progressing. I respond very well at first scan and then progress at 2nd scan - this has been wha has occurred first two chemos.
I am on xeloda now and scans are due in late august. Tumor marker numbers raised when I first went on this drug but remained stable for the last check. 89 to 90.
I am at back surgeons office now as I have a pain in my back that goes to my arm and fingers. Feels like a pinched nerve. Very concerning for me as this is the pain that took me to onc in first place.
I have concerns about this chemo not doing the trick on my lymph node metastasis.
