I am triple negative taking Xeloda my second cycle applying a lot cream on my hands and feet my liver enzymes are high any suggestions thanks

What Xeloda dosage/schedule are you on? My liver enzymes (AST and ALT) were higher before I began but have decreased over the past two months on Xeloda and are now in normal range. My ND oncologist also recommended Milk Thistle to help with liver function. Even though it doesn't seem to interfere, I take it on the week I'm not taking Xeloda. I also drink a lot of water just to keep flushing toxins out. I hope you get good results from Xeloda!

20%urea intensive hydrating cream is what pharmacist told me to use. Told me hands and feet cotton socks at night.

If you are asking for moisturizers, try a lanolin salve.

I start xeloda next week. Because I have had complications on ibrance/faslodex I reasoned with my onc to let me do 7 days on then 7 off. He agreed. Thank you God🙏🏻

That's great! What dose will you be taking? I hope it knocks your cancer back and you have an easy time with it.

1500 mg in morning with food and 1500 at night with food. That will be challenging. I am not great morning eater- they want it spaced out 10-12 hours. ??? I don’t know how I will do this.

I take it around 9am with yogurt and oatmeal then around 8pm with a meal but it really helps to drink at least three liters of water and keep eating small frequent meals because it can cause gastritis

I have now GERD now I have to watch my diet I am on my second cycle
