Hi. I'm new to the group. I'm 42 years old diagnosed last year with er+pr+ her2 positive breast cancer with mets to the liver.I completed 19 rounds of chemo and now I'm on herceptin and perjeta along with letrozole. My last pet scan was clear. Hoping to keep it that way.

Good news! Hope you're condition stabilizes.
Hello, My2greyhounds, Welcome to the group. I'm glad to hear that you're doing well and your treatments are working for you. I too have HER2+ MBC and have been taking only Herceptin for several years. I used a combination of local procedures and Heceptin to treat the cancer that had spread to my lung: minimally invasive surgery and then the following year, radio frequency ablation, to eradicate the reappearance of another tumor in the same area of the lung. I'm so happy to hear the good news about the PET scan results.
Sounds like you're on a good course of treatment. Think positive and be confident that the "beast" will be tamed!
