Hi from south africa.

rls is giving Me sleepless nights.I augmented on pramipexole. Been off it for 6months now and I've been coping with tramacet.

However recently my legs are bearable but I am not sleeping at night.

Not sure if the tramacet is keeping me up

I've stopped the tramacet n and rls is bad once again.

Cbd/thc none is helping.7

Ferritin s is 293ng/ml

And saturation is 29.6%

Lyrica,gabapentin didn't help for me.

Desperate to go on something that works.

I have thromphilia and I'm on warfarin and clexane anti coagulants

I probably asked you this but don't remember your answer. Did you take the lyrica while you were on pramipexole? Or right after you stopped? How much were you on?

Hi Sue. I was given lyrica for neuropathy before pramipexole. I was a zombie on it. Even on the smallest dose

I'm sorry. It can be a side effect for some.

How much tramadol were you taking and why did you stop?

Hi. I've taken just one tablet around 7pm. Stopped for 2 nights...i think it was causing insomnia. Im Back on it now as my legs weren't doing well without it

You might want to ask for a sleeping pill. I would recommend lunesta (Eszopiclone) which is what I take. I would not recommend Clonazepam (Klonopin, Rivotril) as it has a long half life of 48 hours and can cause sleepiness the next day.

Also you might want to increase the tramadol. The usual effective dose is 100 to 200 mg.

Rather than adjusting major problem medication, have you occasionally taken paracetamol before bed? I find it gives me 5 hours when needed.

PAracetamol is a painkiller in the uk. Go to the chemist , it depends on strength but ask the chemist.

We can buy them and in uk take 2 before bedtime.

Thanks. We do get paracetamol here. It's known as a very mild pain killer but I'd try. Hoping it helps
