Hi, I seem to remember a while back finding a link (here I think, maybe on Reddit?) to a PDF someone had gotten from Hopkins, or one of the other big clinics, detailing their precise protocol and what to "expect" when finally off of a DA in terms of days, etc.
Can someone please repost that? I went super slow, 0.0625 every few weeks, finally stopped over a week ago, also got my first iron infusion 6 weeks ago, off of pregabalin as well, was ok the first few days but now sense increasing issues. Also have been on bupropion 200mg stable for a few years and vyvanse, not sure if I really need to be thinking about stopping those too?
ANYWAY if anyone can repost that PDF I would be dearly appreciative!

That's great that you are off mirapex. I know it's not easy. I don't have a source for the paper but it takes several weeks for your symptoms to settle and sometimes more. Vyvanse can make RLS worse for some. I wouldn't stop the buprenorprine. What are your increasing issues? If it is more RLS then it is because it was helping you. Or if you stopped it cold turkey rather than slowly withdrawing, that could cause some other symptoms.
Thank you kindly. I think going on a ketogenic low calorie diet past few weeks has helped too. It has been around a week totally off and things are maybe finally resetting though the RLS has gotten worse past few nights.
Thank you for sharing that link that’s what i remembered I just wish we had the rest of it (cut off in image)
Excellent. Thanks Chris. That explains it exactly as I recall it!
I just wish doctors who prescribe DAs would learn about this withdrawal chart. If they realised how horrific withdrawal is, they'd stop prescribing them. Especially to people over 60 who will suffer falls and injury going through it.
