Opiates used to help DA withdrawal

Is there any article which states that using an opiate can help with DA withdrawal i know we always give that advice when advising anyone who needs to wean off a DA. It’s what i advise when helping someone on a fb group. Today someone said it wouldn’t help so i am hoping there is an article i can show him. I can’t find any information about it myself. Sorry for long post.

There are articles out there but difficult to find.

I suggest you email Dr Buckfeurer at Southern California RLS.

Someone can pass on his actual email, or it's on their site.
