Bromsgrove West-midlands UK visit

I will be in visiting Bromsgrove in the West Midlands March if any peeps are in that proximity or can get to Bromsgrove .

I would be happy to set aside a few hours for a group catch up.

Just thought I would put that out there.

Would have to be a weekday , I have family commitments after school and weekends.

Great idea Shumbah. Sadly, I'm in London, but I'm also still shielding as I have no immunity to Covid. Despite 5 vaccines I have zero antibodies. So still unable to visit family without FFP3 masks.

I stopped my MS treatment to get my immune system back and will try to get Novavax in April.

I can then rejoin the world.

I hope many members are near enough to join your get together.

Shumbah, Do you know how long do I have to be off of Oxy before I start Buprenorphine?

I was on 20 mg slow release plus 2 x 5 endone

Same day stopped and started Subutex

What dose and type have you been prescribed ?

Have you read my Instructions on how to start what ever you do do NOT take 2 mg

I am in the process of getting another pain dr. need to know what to ask for. Have a lot of pain, RLS and can't sleep. What dose do I ask for of Boprenorphine?

2 mg Buprenorphine in Australia it is called SUBUTEX ensure you do not get Temgesic mcg half-life not long enough. Also ensure you do not get suboxone which has naloxone added.

Also get Zofram 8mg just incase of nausea and Miralax or something that draws water to your bowel just incase some people find 2 mg magnesium forte sufficient nightly .

Pill cutter cut into quarters.

put 3/4 to one side break reamainh quarter into tiny pinheads approx 3 or 4

bedtime not before put one pin head under tongue you can add more afyer 15 min only if required. You will balance out over a few days.

Happy to talk to you on a phone call if you get bup sadly some people rush in and think it’s so small and take to much and put themselves off.

I just went through this experience with a person in Australia anyway he is now Sleeping like a baby and pain free

It is so very strong , you may not like the side effects also.

My first night one tiny pinhead and I did not move all night . Is still did not take the full 2 mg but I do not tell the doctors.

People I know who have not started my way have made themself very ill.Some have been so sick they are to scared to try again a bit like a hangover puts you off that particular drink forever which is a shame because it works really well.

Let me reiterate. I ask the doctor for 2mg of Buprenorphine. I take only a pinhead of the pill, right? Will a pinhead work for pain?

Hi Shumbah, It's been awhile since contact with you. I hope you are doing well. I was on 10mg Oxy for my back pain (surgery scheduled for May 26) I have since found another pain doctor and he took me off the Oxy and put me on 8mg film of Buprenoephine every 8 hours. I don't even have to use it that often. Working wonderfully for both RLS and back pain. I have a friend, and her beautiful daughter, both suffering from Fibro and Fatigue. Wondering if Buprenorphine might work for Fibro? Do you have any info on that? It is such a privilege to have someone like you. I sincerely appreciate you and the research you have done to help everyone.
