Hi all. I have been suffering from sleepless night for quite a few years. I did notice that if I use a calf compression socks ( usually for runners) the pain and the urge to move I had as soon as I went to bed, will reduce to a level that I can eventually sleep. My discomfort is mainly in lower leg and in the calfs. I did resist taking any medication as I did read the side effects being.
I did a week ago finally invest in a foot and calf massager from OSIM (UPHORIA) AND SINCE THEN IT IS MUCH MUCH
BETTER and the feeling I get are mostly gone. Almost no urge to trim and twist during night. I am not sure if this will be a long term solution but it works for now. I though I should share it. I am not sure if anyone had the experience.

Someone else posted a while ago that this helped them.
I always rush out and buy any gadget or supplements that seem to help people and now have a room full! Sadly none of them have made any difference to my RLS.
I should sell them all on here at a discount to anyone wanting to see if they help.
However, I’m delighted it’s helping you. Long may it continue.
Thanks! I can somewhat relate, as I have a similar pair of compression socks. They don't control my symptoms by themselves. But I use them frequently in the early evening when symptoms start to play up and are not yet controlled by my meds, which I only/mainly take in the evening.
This is what I have. I went for the brand Osim as I know from experience they have the best massage products. I would try one though before buying. ebay.co.uk/itm/233669580820
Marc see above an example on eBay. They don't make this one anymore but there are many other producers who sell similar ones for cheaper. Admittedly this one is quite pricey. It's called Osim UPHORIA foot and calf massager.
