Coming of tramodol

I am coming of Tramodol and all I have to do is stop 50mg per week as I only take 100mg it won’t take long

Why do you need to be coming off Tramadol? Are you replacing it with something new?

I don’t think my meds are working so I am trying to come of tram and am upping the Pregablin

I have been asked by my neurologist to come off 200mg of Tramadol and compensate by increasing Gabapentin. I plan to start this around 8th July as I am going on holiday first. I will be very interested in how you get on. I think the Tramadol is effective and am not looking forward to the reduction

Martini, I know how you feel about starting after hols. I wanted to come of Tramodol because the pain I was having when legs played up wasn’t nice so I thought they weren’t doing much , last night was a miracle I slept from 12,00 until 9,00 this morning you never know why What worries me are the things that Pregablin say might effect you , my friend says never read those bits of paper with the meds, will keep you posted how I get on x

You could try dropping 50 mg on alternate days and stay with that for a wee while then drop the 50mg every day. See how that goes then drop 50 on alternate days again. Work from there.

How wonderful to have a good nights sleep. Fantastic. I agree that the info sheets can be a bit scary so best to wait to see what happens to you. I look forward to hearing how the Tramadol withdrawal goes
