Following a broken ankle 3months ago and being in plaster for months followed by a moonboot for a month I get pins & needles in both hands all the time, Could this be my zimmer frame?

I get pins and needles in my hands a lot, most mornings I wake with it. Didn't know if it was because of Raynauds or another condition I have (Vasovagal Syncope)

Good day sandraj. I too have had pins and needles in my fingers of both hands for over ten years. Investigation showed Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. I was offered surgery but refused as I did not feel it was necessary. I have learnt to manage it with the use of a pair of hand support given to me by the physiotherapist at my local hospital.

I am not sure of the cause of your symptoms. Maybe using the Zimmer frame has just aggravated an underlying condition.

Maybe your GP could refer you to the arthritis clinic for further tests if the pins and needles in your fingers persist or get worse.

Good luck!
